Cinch jeans has made it a standard to only endorse the top rodeo cowboys and trainers in their respective industries.  They have proven it again in 2009, by endorsing young gun, nineteen-year-old, Tuf Cooper.  In 2008, at just the age of eighteen, Tuf qualified for his first trip to the National Finals Rodeo ending up fourth in the world. Tuf’s dominance began early when in 2005 he won the inaugural Junior High School Finals Rodeo tie-down roping championships in Gallup, New Mexico.  The next year he went onto win the All-Around Championship as well as the Tie-Down roping Championship at the International Youth Finals Rodeo in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  In 2008, the same year as his first NFR qualification, Tuf also qualified in the team roping and tie-down roping at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Farmington, New Mexico.  For Tuf, 2008 ended great and 2009 has started off with a bang at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in Denver by winning the short-go and finishing second in the average in the tie-down roping. 

One thing in common between Tuf Cooper and Tag Rice, one of Cinch newly endorsed cutting horse trainers is their family ties.  With the last name of Cooper, there is no doubt where Tuf came from.  Legendary Roy Cooper is Tuf’s father, as well as his brother-in-law who is one of the greatest All-Around Champions of all time, Trevor Brazile.  As for Tag, his father is a very celebrated cutting horse trainer, the great Ronnie Rice and cousins to the talented Boyd Rice. 

Tag Rice grew up in the cutting horse industry, as a youth and then carried his non-professional card. During his non-pro career he won the 1991 National Cutting Horse Association Non-Pro Futurity title.  It was in 2001 when Tag decided to turn his non-pro card in and become a professional trainer.  It didn’t take long for Tag to prove why he turned pro. In 2002, Tag rode the mare Chiquita Pistol to the NCHA Futurity Open Championship and in 2003 completed the final two legs of the NCHA Triple Crown, winning the NCHA Super Stakes and NCHA Derby Championships aboard Chiquita Pistol.  Tag has become only the third rider in NCHA history to have won the Triple Crown. 

At a very young age Tag has become one of the most celebrated cutting horse trainers of all time, winning almost 2.8 million dollars in NCHA earnings. Cinch jeans is proud to endorse Tag,  He is an incredible person and comes from a great family.
